Ferro Chromium Factory
Execution of concrete works, steel structures and all civil works related to the main production line (furnace building), casting building, grading building, packaging building, hydraulic buildings, water tanks and landscaping was awarded to Kanrood Sazeh in two phases in 2000 and 2002.
Execution of steel structure in Sabzevar Ferro Chromium Plant incorporates:
1- Furnace Structure
This is the biggest industrial super structure of this project with approximate height of 40m and 780 tons of weight. All the columns, beams and bracings sections are constructed as Built-Up form.
2- Casting Building
This building has a surface of about 1800 m2 and weighs approximately 340 tons
3- Galleries
v Raw material transferring system
Ø Contains 310 m gallery and supporting structure for conveyor belt with approximate weight of 300 tons
v Production transferring system
Ø Contains 250 m gallery and supporting structure for conveyor belt with approximate weight of 240 tons
4- Silo for raw material daily usage
Area of the land: 1800 m2; total surface of the structure : 550m2; Height of structure: 22m; approximate weight: 150 tons .
5- Bag house
Total surface of this building is 2600m2; in 5 floors with total height of 26m and 250 tons weight.
6- Cooling House
Total surface of this building is 1200 m2; in 3 floors with total height of 22m and 100 tons weight.
7- Roofed Halls
Ø Roofed storage containing roofed halls with the surface of 2880 m2 and 160 tons weight
Ø Production storage containing roofed halls with the surface of 840 m2 and 45 tons weight
Ø Compressor house containing roofed halls with the surface of 350 m2 and 25 tons weight
8- Elevated Water tank
Volume of tank: 150 M3, Diameter: 6.7 m, Height of erection: 31 m, approximate weight: 62 tons.
